On 26 April 2019, Christian Schmitt had the defense of his doctoral thesis “A Domain-Specific Language and Source-to-Source Compilation Framework for Geometric Multigrid Methods” and passed it with distinction (summa cum laude). Afterwards he received a fancy doctoral cap from Prof. Teich.
